To apply this potting mix soil, select a pot with a drainage hole. Place Vigoro® All-Purpose Potting Mix in the new pot leaving enough room for the plant. Lightly loosen the roots to help improve root establishment in the new pot. Place the plant into the new pot and fill around the roots with Vigoro® All-Purpose Potting Mix, leaving a 1/2 in. space at the top below the rim. Water thoroughly. Tips on growing container plants include: Let the mix dry to the touch between waterings. Do not allow plants to sit in drainage water. Outdoor plants may require daily watering in hot weather. Also, apply fertilizer according to package directions when plants show signs of slowed growth or foliage turns a lighter shade of green.
