In addition, the added fertilizer feeds grass to crowd out future weeds and build strong, deep roots to withstand Southern stressors. Scotts® Turf Builder® Bonus® S Southern Weed & Feed2 is for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass only. Apply to a dry lawn when grass and weeds are actively growing. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 4 ¼. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ¼. The product must be watered in immediately after application. Do not apply during winter dormancy period - wait until after the third mowing of the season to apply. Do not apply with a hand-held spreader. Do not apply to Bermudagrass.
