The backbone of this log splitter is a heavy-duty H-beam construction for a reduced beam deflection during log splitting. With a specially shaped 2-way wedge, a 10.9 sec. cycle time along a 22 and 3/4-in. stroke, you can easily and efficiently split logs up to 24 in. in length. For an added convenience, the hydraulic cylinder handle smoothly pivots the machine from a vertical position to a horizontal position, allowing you to roll and move heavier and larger diameter logs and position them in place without having to lift them. This 28-ton log splitter has 16 in. dia. approved DOT road tires and standard 2 in. ball hitch coupler with safety chains, giving you the versatility of not being stuck in one spot and being able to tow it and do your splitting on site.
