Description
Cabretta leather comes from the hide of hair sheep that grow straight manes rather than curly wool. The animal's hair is short and coarse, causing most of the nutrients to go into their skin. This breed of sheep can be found in the mountainous regions of Africa, India, South America and China. Cabretta leather can also be made from goatskin. It's used to make items such as shoes, handbags, garments and gloves. This leather is close-fibered, smooth, soft, fine-grained and tanned.
